The Lion Dance is a form of traditional dance in Chinese culture, in which performers mimic a lion's movements in a lion costume.

In this Lion Dance, the lion costume is operated by a pair of dancers. The dancers, forming the fore and back legs of the lion, mimic the motions of a single animal as they move between platforms of varying elevations, responding to the lion tamer (in yellow).

The dance is accompanied by gongs and drums, representing good luck.
